What is Dimethyl Adipate?

DMA can be used as chemical intermediates (polymers, agricultural chemicals), cellulose resins, special solvents (inks, coatings, adhesives), and moisturizers, as well as as paint removers and plasticizers.
Dimethyl adipate is used in cosmetics (moisturizers and skin conditioners). Used as a plasticizer and finishing agent for cellulose based resins. It is also used as a precursor for agricultural chemicals and dyes, as well as for the preparation of active pharmaceutical ingredients. In addition, it is also used as an intermediate in polymers.
